About

I have held a camera for more than forty years. When I saw my first print emerge in an open tray of D76, I appreciated the power a moment frozen in time could have in helping make sense of the world around me. In recent years and with a new toolset with which to work, I have tried to craft a visual framework in which others can consider the world we share. Today, I flop like a drought-stranded fish between the brute force of hyper-realist color and the subtle space and contrast of black-and-white.

Born in Oakland, California, I spent my 30's in rural northern New Mexico, and today share time between Lafayette and Felton, California.
